I want to see Jesus

Scriptures: I John 3:1-5; Isaiah 6:1-5; John 12:20
You may know about Jesus, but do you know Jesus for yourself? Jesus desires a personal relationship with you; and when you truly see Jesus, you will never be the same.
After an encounter with Jesus, the prophet Isaiah declared, “Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts” (Isaiah 6:6). The Lord is a mirror that shows you yourself; and after a glimpse, you can’t help but want to be cleansed and renewed. And “every man that hath this hope in him purfieth himself, even as he is pure” (1 John 3:3).
When you truly see Jesus, you will recognize how great HE is and how needy you really are. It is in those times that you are in trouble that HE will show himself strong. The three Hebrew boys would be the first to testify that when you are in the fire, the LORD will get in the fire with you (Daniel 3:10-28). Stephen, the martyr, would declare that when you stand for God, HE will stand for you (Acts 7:54-60). God just wants an opportunity to show HIMSELF to you. The question is do you want to see Jesus?
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. -1 John 3:2
